When running your ads and your account for your campaign one thing to remember to do is monitor it. The first thing to do when monitoring your campaign is to set the time frame. Time frames help you know trends so you can get a sense of how everything is going. If you want to change your time frame, you can go to AdWords ad click on the date range drop-down menu that you can find in the upper right corner. There are several options you can choose from and you can pick the one that works best for you. The next way to monitor your campaign is by checking how many clicks your ad gets. You are the one paying for these ads to be put up, so you will want to know how much attentions it is getting. A better way to see if people actually went through your ad is to look at the click through rate. The first step one must take when launching their own campaign is to plan. When you are planning your ad you have to look at the content of the page and site. Begin by looking at your "target", who your ad is pointed and what service or product you are advertising on your website/page. If you need help planning Google is a good tool to use, you can look up videos are articles to help get you started. To create your campaign go on your AdWords account and click the "campaign" button. If you are seriously running your campaign make a bid of like $5 or whatever amount you prefer. Now that you have probably already created an account for AdWords, the next thing to do is start your campaign. Depending on whether you have already had a campaign you can either click on the Create Your First Campaign or you just have to click on the standard Campaign button. When using AdWords, Google provides a "wizard" to hep you through the process of doing your campaign. The wizard helps you select campaign settings, create ad groups, create ads, and review ad groups. After exploring AdWords a little you can create a name for your campaign in the Campaign Name Field. You can put in other information if you would want, like location and languages. Since Google is global, you can run your ads in different languages for people all over the world to see.
