Week 3 (MKTG 349 OL) - Getting Started on AdWords
Now that you have probably already created an account for AdWords, the next thing to do is start your campaign. Depending on whether you have already had a campaign you can either click on the Create Your First Campaign or you just have to click on the standard Campaign button. When using AdWords, Google provides a "wizard" to hep you through the process of doing your campaign. The wizard helps you select campaign settings, create ad groups, create ads, and review ad groups. After exploring AdWords a little you can create a name for your campaign in the Campaign Name Field. You can put in other information if you would want, like location and languages.
Since Google is global, you can run your ads in different languages for people all over the world to see. On AdWords it is kind of like bidding you can put in a certain amount of money to get someone to click on your ad. There is a drop-down menu that AdWords offers on how you want to do business and you can select and option from there. Depending on what people search in Google specific ads relating to that search come up. The good thing about AdWords is that it helps you track the ROI of your ads. It is such a great way to get your campaign and brand out there. So many people search things on Google multiple times a day. If you really want your campaign to get out there try AdWords on Google!
