Week 8 (MKTG 348 OL) - People & Perspectives in AI

Today, I am going to be discussing more about the people who are in the world of artificial intelligence and the perspectives of being in that field. This will help you get an even better and deeper view into the world of AI. Let's start off with Andrew Ng, he is an AI leader who launched MOOC (Massively Open Online Courses). He went on to work at Baidu, which is basically China's version of Google. Andrew has done more work in his life to teach people more about machine learning.

Another person in the AI world is Geoffrey Hinton, he is responsible for recent advances in AI. One of the best ways to get to know a bit more about his advances you could read Master Algorithm. Master Algorithm was written by Pedro Domingos, in his book it gives readers and insight into machine learning and its core concepts. All these people have a love for AI and making new discoveries to help the world advance further more into the world of AI.

By learning search engine optimization and developing skills needed for it, you can use this to help get a job in that field. A great way to really help you get that job is by using the knowledge and skills you have gained and get a certification in SEO. You can get certificates in Google AdWords and Analytics, also in web-analytics. All this will help make you more skilled in SEO and more qualified to obtain a job in that industry. When thinking about getting a job in this field, look at the main goals of the job. SEO looks at building content, social, search, and analytics. Another great place to get certified for search engine optimization is through HubSpot. On HubSpot the amount of material and tools it offers is top-notch. They promote themselves using inbound marketing and they make your content relevant and vibrant. I personally have certifications in both AdWords and HubSpot and I can tell you they come in handy. Week 9 (MKTG 348 OL) - What to do Next?

To get more information on artificial intelligence I will be offering you some more options on where to gain more knowledge about it. I have only given you a little introduction into AI, but there is still so much more to learn about it. One way you can learn more is through books, I recommend reading Master Algorithm , the book I mentioned in my previous posts. This book is a really good way to get into AI more, but in a good pace, so you are not thrown deep into it. You can take more course on AI, I am sure you can find one near you! This is probably the best way to develop skills on artificial intelligence. AI is definitely not easy, so taking a course is the best option if you think you might struggle understanding it. Coursera is another way to take courses about AI, but you can earn a certificate through this way.
