One last reason this is helpful is because unemployment is frustrating and an interruption in people's lives, this interruption can help lead you to different opportunities, as well as, allowing you to assess your life.

In order to do a self-inventory one must mentally prepare themselves by removing past job positions from your mind. Then write on a piece of paper significant things about yourself after that put some sort of picture on paper too that will encourage you to find a fit for you. Then gather a list of things you personally want in a job and to conclude the self-inventory method is to prioritize what aspects in a job are most important to you, like salary or location, whatever it may be.
