Week 11 (MKTG 349 OL) - Ways To Succeed When Using Digital Marketing

Some businesses have recently gotten into the trend of digital marketing and since they are just starting off sometimes it can be hard determining the best ways to market your brand to consumers through this method. I am going to provide some tips for those of you who are just starting out on how to succeed using digital marketing. The first way is to monitor all your social media to get information, social listening, or trends and then you can analyze the performance of all your digital marketing initiatives to focus on the information you have found. Another way is to have high quality content, if your business posts boring and bland ads you are not getting the consumers attention.

Now moving on to some other ways to help you succeed in the digital marketing world, you should try using videos more. People now a day love watching exciting videos. Just make sure these videos are mobile optimized, since most people are constantly on their phones. That moves us to focus on mobile, because at least 80% of internet users have a smartphone, this will help you reach an even bigger audience. The last way is to personalize your digital marketing efforts, the change in technology and trends means you have to assess and modify the way your company promotes its brand.

A great way to really help you get that job is by using the knowledge and skills you have gained and get a certification in SEO. You can get certificates in Google AdWords and Analytics, also in web-analytics. All this will help make you more skilled in SEO and more qualified to obtain a job in that industry. When thinking about getting a job in this field, look at the main goals of the job. SEO looks at building content, social, search, and analytics. Another great place to get certified for search engine optimization is through HubSpot. On HubSpot the amount of material and tools it offers is top-notch. To get more information on artificial intelligence I will be offering you some more options on where to gain more knowledge about it. I have only given you a little introduction into AI, but there is still so much more to learn about it. One way you can learn more is through books, I recommend reading Master Algorithm , the book I mentioned in my previous posts. This book is a really good way to get into AI more, but in a good pace, so you are not thrown deep into it. You can take more course on AI, I am sure you can find one near you! This is probably the best way to develop skills on artificial intelligence. AI is definitely not easy, so taking a course is the best option if you think you might struggle understanding it. Coursera is another way to take courses about AI, but you can earn a certificate through this way.
