Week 11 (MKTG 347) - How to Handle Issues You Face in the Job-Hunting Process

The job-hunt process is already stressful enough as it is and no one wants to face those issues, but you probably will have to, so I am going to help you deal with them. When you get turned down from a job you are probably thinking there is something wrong with you and how you were not good enough, this isn't always going to be an issue it will only be an issue for some employers, but likely not all. So, there is a good chance that this issue won't last long. Don't thing you are alone in this game, everyone has deal with these burdens when looking for a job.

To help you get through some of these issues make a list of skills you can do and ones that you can't. After this pick the top five things you can do and that you love and give an example of a time you used that skill. One last burden many face while job-hunting is shyness, whether is be low self-esteem, anxiety, or fear, this is at the top of the list of burdens. One way to help overcome shyness is by finding a job that you are really enthusiastic about. This will make the whole job process easier and more comfortable if it is something that you are curious about and take a liking to. Don't let these burdens get in your way of finding a job there is always a way to overcome them and achieve great things.

By learning search engine optimization and developing skills needed for it, you can use this to help get a job in that field. A great way to really help you get that job is by using the knowledge and skills you have gained and get a certification in SEO. You can get certificates in Google AdWords and Analytics, also in web-analytics. All this will help make you more skilled in SEO and more qualified to obtain a job in that industry. When thinking about getting a job in this field, look at the main goals of the job. SEO looks at building content, social, search, and analytics. Another great place to get certified for search engine optimization is through HubSpot. On HubSpot the amount of material and tools it offers is top-notch. To get more information on artificial intelligence I will be offering you some more options on where to gain more knowledge about it. I have only given you a little introduction into AI, but there is still so much more to learn about it. One way you can learn more is through books, I recommend reading Master Algorithm , the book I mentioned in my previous posts. This book is a really good way to get into AI more, but in a good pace, so you are not thrown deep into it. You can take more course on AI, I am sure you can find one near you! This is probably the best way to develop skills on artificial intelligence. AI is definitely not easy, so taking a course is the best option if you think you might struggle understanding it. Coursera is another way to take courses about AI, but you can earn a certificate through this way.
