Week 10 (MKTG 347) - Choosing Where You Work

Some people will choose a place of employment because they really need a job or because they want to work there. Here are five steps that job-hunters think will be very helpful and beneficial to people who are looking for a new job. The first step is to find out what careers or work fit your skills and personality best. The second is try on some of the jobs before you pick one to pursue. Next comes finding out what kinds of organizations have the job that fits what you are looking for. Fourth, find names of particular places that interest you. The last step is to research the place you have chosen carefully, to see if it is a right fit for you.

After this whole process is done remember to send thank you cards to all the employers who you have interviewed for. I know this seems like much, but it will make you look like a better candidate for the job. One last tip is to be more social, because the more social you are the more friends or people you know who may have a contact that could benefit you. This could lead to getting you a job that you may need or like. Follow these tips and your job-hunting will be a bit more easier and organized. You are more likely to find a job that suits you best by doing these steps.
