Week 9 (MKTG 347) - Self - Inventory Part II
On to the second part of the self - inventory section I talked about in one of my previous posts. To start this section off, we will be discussing the seven parts to you or the seven ways of describing yourself. The first part of the seven is people, how do you describe yourself in terms of the people you would like to work with or help and describe those kinds of people. The second part is workplace, describe who you are in the workplace and what workplace environment suits you best. The third part is skills, find out what you can do and what your favorite skills are that you possess. The fourth part is your purpose in life, describe yourself when it comes to your goals or your purpose.
To move further on the fifth part is the knowledge you already have, look at who you are based on the knowledge you already know and what interests you the most among all that knowledge. The sixth part is salary and responsibility, describe yourself when it comes to what suits you most whether it is working individually or with a team, or supervising, as well as, the kind of salary that you think fits your responsibilities. The last part is geography, what surroundings suit you best, warm or cold weather, abroad, urban or rural, north or south, take all those into consideration when looking for job that makes you happy or fits your skills best. These self - inventory tips will help you understand yourself better and will help you determine the kind of job you want more clearly.
